The systematic pressure and violence on Uyghur Turks who have been subject to assimilation since many years by People’s Republic of China in Eastern Turkestan region are being increasingly continued.
According to principles accepted as part of Universal Declaration of Human Rights and human dignity, everyone has the freedom of thought and faith. What is happening in Eastern Turkestan is an undisputed VIOLATION OF RIGHTS.
We demand that a report is prepared by identifying violations of rights about the actions carried out in Eastern Turkestan ruled by the State of China and by investigating these violations of rights about the issues mentioned below.
It needs to be investigated and reported that as notified Muslim Turks living in Eastern Turkestan; are not able to perform their rights such as freedom of thought, expression and religion, right of peaceful organization, right of assembly, political rights, right of equal protection of law, minority rights, right to education, right to employment, right of property, right of travel, right to vote in free elections, protection of justice, personal dignity and reputation and right of migration and asylum, and that in Eastern Turkestan it is forbidden for civil servants, workers and students to go to prayer halls and that they worship; that the people who are identified to worship are dismissed from employment and expelled from school; that in Ramadan it is forbidden to fasten and Muslim Uyghur Turks who fasten blacklisted, punished, exposed to arbitrary detention or get fined; that there is not any educational institution for people who would like to receive religious education; that in mosques the statutory laws are communicated instead of religious values; that keeping religious books at home is accepted as a crime, these books are seized, people are punished, many actions that may be seen as a worship are forbidden and that the mosques are closed.
On the other hand we demand investigation for notifies stating that in Eastern Turkestan no one has life guarantee and law security has been destroyed, there are arbitrary detentions and punishments, it is accepted as a crime to help children and family of detainees, Eastern Turkistani women who are allowed to give birth to maximum 2 and very 3 children are being subject to obligatory abortion even if on the last days of their pregnancy, there is a population planning and in case of hidden child births families are sentenced to rather heavy fines, if the woman who give birth or her husband is a civil servant they are discharged.
Lastly on 28 July 2015 28 Turks who want to perform their religious lives in Eastern Turkestan were cruelly slaughtered for all the world to see just because of their being Muslims and Turks. Even though with its explanation to the world the State of China claimed that these people assaulted with weapons to security forces, it has not shared any record or evidence by no means. In this situation it is obvious that these 28 innocent people who had desire to perform their religious believes were slaughtered in the cause of their belief and they are the victims of a violation of right.
We have no doubt that the Council established on 15 March 2006 with the resolution no A/60/251 by General Assembly of the United Nations is going to detachedly assess and investigate our application in terms of enabling Councils’ prestige and reliability among nations of the world.
I demand hereby that human rights violations in Eastern Turkestan Region of People’s Republic of China are reported; advices are given about the promotion and protection of human rights in conformity with the will of General Establishment Committee and as an institution we want it to be known that we are going to be a close follower of this issue.
Your immediate attention to this matter is appreciated.
